Team FOLON Is Now an Official Studio – And We’re Working on Our First Game
We’re proud to officially announce that Team FOLON is now a registered game development company and we’re wroking on our first game!
What began as a group of passionate modders has grown into something much bigger. With the release of Fallout: London and the incredible support we’ve received from the community, we’ve taken the next step of transitioning from a volunteer team into a fully-fledged indie studio! We’ve finalised everything, including a brand-new logo and a proper home for our future projects.
DLCs?
With this new chapter comes an important shift. After the release of our final planned DLC, “WildCard” (release date TBA), Team FOLON will be stepping away from the Fallout modding scene. It’s been an unforgettable journey, but we’re ready to explore new creative frontiers, and we hope you’ll be there with us.
A New Beginning
Alongside this announcement, we’re also excited to share that we’ve begun development on our first original game. This marks an important shift for us at Team FOLON, moving away from the Bethesda Creation Engine and into something far more modern: Unreal Engine.
Our goal with this first title is to create a small, focused indie project that allows us to fully embrace Unreal and begin developing skills and workflows we can carry into future, larger-scale productions. It’s a learning curve, no doubt, but one we’re genuinely excited about.
This is a big transition, but one that feels natural after years of working together, problem-solving as a team, and building worlds from the ground up. Now, we get to do it with full creative control, on our own terms.
We can’t wait to show you more when the time is right. For now, we just want to say thank you, for playing our work, sharing your thoughts, and sticking with us through it all. The road ahead is uncharted, but we’re ready for it.
